Pulasthi breaks a finger Sa'adi Thawfeeq reporting from South Africa PIETERMARITZBURG, Thursday, Sri Lanka fast bowler Pulasthi Gunaratne was ruled out of tomorrow's World Cup Group B match against Bangladesh here tomorrow after breaking a bone in his right index finger. The injury will also keep him out of the Sri Lanka's next two matches against Canada and Kenya. Sri Lanka manager Ajith Jayasekera said that Gunaratne however will be retained in the squad as he has a good chance of recovering and be fit for the crucial games against West Indies and South Africa towards the end of the month. Jayasekera said that Gunaratne suffered the break while fielding in the opening match against New Zealand at Bloemfontein on Monday and that X'rays had revealed a fracture.
