East West Marketing in easy win East West Marketing coasted to an easy 53 run win over Daichi Trading in their Lion Open indoor cricket tournament division one match played at the Austasia Sports Complex in Thalawathugoda. East West batting first scored 92 runs from their 16 overs with Nalaka de Silva (21) and Muthumudalige Pushpakumara (17) making solid contributions. K. Ashok took the bowling honours for Daichi Trading with four wickets for minus five runs. In reply Daichi Trading managed to score only 39 runs from their 16 overs with Imran Samsudeen hitting a top score of 14. Chandika Sisira (3 for minus 5) and Pubudu Chandrasekera (3 for 4) shared the wickets for East West Marketing. Meanwhile Progressive defeated Amana Takaful by 18 runs in a division three match played at the same venue. Progressive batting first were restricted to 51 runs from their 16 overs with Sachithra Siribaddana making a top score of 21. Shameer Rawlings returned superb figures of 4 for minus 7. Amana Takaful collected only 33 runs from their 16 overs with Sachithra Siribaddana making his presence felt with the ball too capturing 4 for minus 11 runs.
