Royal power their way to third win

Royal College powered their way to register their third outright victory in the current season as they defeated Dharmasoka College Ambalangoda by seven wickets in their Elephant Lemonade Cup tournament fixture concluded at Reid Avenue yesterday.

Dharmasoka: 203 and 104 (U. Tharanga 30, D. Anthony 23, Ganganath Ratnayake 4 for 22, Heshan Morawaka 2 for 3)

The last pair of D.S. Senanayake College Sameepa Sanasuma and Kaushal Karunasena figured in an unfinished stand of 44 runs as they pulled off a thrilling first innings win over St. Peter's College in their Elephant Lemonade Cup inter school cricket tournament match concluded at Wijerama Mawatha yesterday.
