Gateway, Alethea in final Gateway International School and Alethea International School have qualified to meet in the final of the inter-international schools under 17 cricket tournament. The tournament is organised by Wychereley International School. In the semifinals Gateway International School beat Wycherley International School by ten wickets and Alethea beat Leighton Park by 34 runs. In the quarterfinals Gateway beat Stafford International School, Leighton Park beat Colombo International School, Alethea beat Lyceum and Wycherley beat Asian International School. Meanwhile Alethea, Leighton Park, Gateway and Colombo International School have qualified to play in the semifinals of the under 19 tournament which is organised by Elizabeth Moir School. In the quarterfinals Colombo International School beat College of World Education by seven wickets, Alethea beat Royal Institute by six wickets, Leighton Park received a walk over from Asian International School and Gateway beat Stafford International School by 102 runs. The semifinal line up is Alethea v Leighton Park and Gateway v Colombo International School. (C.D). |
