UNP politicos meet in Puttalam

The United National Party (UNP) is in the process of educating its political representatives and the public on the present political situation in the country with islandwide conferences, workshops and meetings. This will be held on a district basis and special emphasis will be given to the ongoing peace process, the economic and political situation.

The Puttalam district party meeting and workshop will be held on Saturday, January 18 at 9.30 a.m. at the Puttalam Town Hall under the leadership of Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Alhaj, A. H. M. Azwer. Azwer is also the Chairman of the Puttalam District Development Committee.

Minister of Human Resources Development, Cultural Affairs and Education Karunasena Kodituwakku, Samurdhi Minister, R. A. D. Sirisena and Parliamentary Affairs Minister, A. H. M. Azwer are scheduled to address the gathering.
