SLT accounts for 37.6% of CSE turnover

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) shares accounted for 37.6% of the turnover of Rs. 130.11 million at yesterday's trading at the Colombo bourse. The SLT share traded between Rs. 15.50 and Rs. 15.75 to close at Rs. 15.50 and a total of 3.1 million shares.

Foreign purchases accounted for Rs. 56.6 million and foreign sales Rs. 53.7 million of the total turnover. Among the other trades which contributed to the turnover were JKH Rs. 24 million, Seylan Rs.10 million, DFCC Bank Rs. 10 million and Apollo Hospitals Rs. 2.6 million.

Meanwhile, the ASPI and the MPI decreased by 5.2 and 4.8 points to 833.66 and 1394.9.
