From Arjuna Ranawana in Thailand The Government and the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE)
yesterday resolved the contentious issue of resettlement of civilians
within the High Security Zones in Jaffna by agreeing to begin the process
in areas outside these zones.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has directed the Employment and
Labour Ministry to formulate an unemployment insurance scheme for the
benefit of employees whose services are terminated legally by various
institutions. PM assures Parliament : Govt. to strengthen electoral system and Commission by Jayantha Sri Nissanka and Bharatha Malawaraarachchi Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe yesterday assured Parliament that
the Government will extend all necessary facilities for the strengthening

joint raid conducted in Negombo yesterday busted a child pornography ring,
