The Colombo bourse recorded a turnover of Rs.30.32 billion during the year at a daily average of Rs.127 million. This year’s turnover is the second highest in the history of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE). The highest turnover recorded so far was Rs. 34 billion in 1994 when the market was at its peak. The Colombo market has attracted many foreign investors with the positive signs of the peace process. 

NDB Bank at Rajagiriya Sathosa Supermarket

NDB Bank opened a branch at the Sathosa supermarket at Rajagiriya, which was re-launched recently. The supermarket, which also houses several other convenience stores and ample parking space, in the heart of Rajagiriya, is convenient location for residents, as well as for commuters using the busy Jawardenapura Mawatha, to do their banking. Customers will also have the benefit of extended banking hours (open until 8.00 p.m.), seven days a week.
