JAYAWICKREME - DULCIE JUANITA CLARICE   (Retired Matron, St. Thomas’ College - Gurutalawa and Mt.Lavinia). Beloved mother of Eshan (Australia) and Dasarath (USA), motherin-law of Fenella (Australia) and Roshini (USA), grandmother of Avantha, Chenura, Teshika and Radheesha, sister of Beryl de Mel and of the late Lucius, Hubert and Ronald Perera, sister-in-law of Sirina, Erma and late Chitra, expired. Her remains will be brought to the Holy Emmanuel Church - Sunday School Hall, Rawatawatte, Moratuwa at 8.30 a.m. on Sunday, 29th December. Service at 10.30 a.m. and Burial thereafter in the family vault.

Beloved husband of Anna, loving father of Laksiri (Australia), Ranapriya, Shamali, father-in-law of late Roy Aquinas (Wattala), grandfather of Asanka and Shehan, expired. Cortege leaves residence on Saturday the 21 at 4.00 p.m. for Burial at R.C. Cemetery, Marawila.   Perera Road, Marawila. 

PERERA - VERNON CLARENCE -   Ever loving husband of Christabel, loving father of Ranjani (Zambia), Chrishanthi, Pastor Vernon (AOG Ja-Ela), Vivian, Dawn, Sandra and Delrine (Lesetho), brother of Kusuma and father-in-law of Dr Nagendra, Kingsley, Deci, Kanthy, late Desmond, Vernon, Pastor Willie (AOG Bible College) and Dr. Prithi. Cortege leaves residence   AOG Bible College, Courts Road, Weligampitiya, Ja-ela, at 1 p.m. on Sunday the 29th instant, to Calvary Centre, Assembly of God, Ja-ela. Funeral Service will be at 3.15 p.m. The Funeral procession will leave for the Kapuwatte General Cemetery (Christian Section) at 4 p.m.

WICKRAMASINGHE - PRIYANKA   Much loved son of Aruna and late Dr. K.D.P. Wickramasinghe, brother of Manoja and brother-in-law of Dr. Jaliya Lokuketagoda. Cortege leaves residence at 5.30 p.m. on 28th December for Cremation at General Cemetery Kanatte at 6.00 p.m.   34/2, Bullers Lane, Colombo 7. 

WIJAYARATNE -   The death occurred on the 25th inst. of MADHURA PALIPANE WIJAYARATNE (nee Jayasinghe - Retd. Teacher). Relict of the late Karunaratne Palipane Wijayaratne Licensed Surveyor, mother of Channa, late Uditha Sunethra, Kanishka and Sumangala, mother-in-law of Chanika, Indranie, Tissa and Ashoka. Obsequies at the Family Burial Ground on 29th Sunday at 1.00 p.m. No flowers by request. Friends and relations please accept this intimation.   “Jaya Niwasa”, Karawdeniya, Ruwanwella.
