Bond into top 10 after demolishing India

LONDON, Sunday (Reuters) - New Zealand fast bowler Shane Bond has moved into the top-10 in the latest edition of test cricket's bowling ratings published on Sunday.

Bond took match figures of seven for 99 as New Zealand beat India by 10 wickets inside three days on Saturday in the first match of their two-test series.

Bond moved up to eighth in the rankings, the first time he has entered the top 10.

New Zealand opening batsman Mark Richardson, the man-of-the-match in Wellington moved up to 16th -- his highest ever ranking -- after he scored 89 in the first innings and hit the winning runs in the second.

There were no changes in the top-10 of the batting ranks with India's Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid holding on to third and 10th place respectively.
