Minister of Rehabilitation, Resettlement and Refugees Prof. Jayalath Jayawardena, left for Rome on a four-day tour. During this visit, the Minister is scheduled to meet and have discussions with the Executive Director of the World Food Programme (WFP), Executive Director of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the Director General of the International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD) a press release said. The Minister is expected to join a TV crew who are making a documentary covering Holy Places situated in Vatican City in Rome. He will obtain the blessings of the Holy Father during this tour, and also meet Sri Lankans residing in Italy. |
