The Inter-Club Billiards and Snooker Tournament conducted by the Billiards and Snooker Association of Sri Lanka is scheduled to commence immediately after this weekend.

Teams competing will be grouped into five divisions depending on the number of teams eligible to participate.

Already 24 teams of different divisions have entered and more teams are expected. Final date for receiving of entries will be the 7th of December. Venue and dates will be notified to respective clubs immediately after the closing date.

Under-21 snooker tournament

The Junior under-21 snooker tournament is scheduled to commence by mid-December 2002 in order to select players to participate in the Asian Under-21 Championship to be held in China during March 2003.

A fair number of entries have already been received and the last date of receiving entries will be 10th December, 2002.
