Full moon day asthmatic cure to be introduced

by Edward Arambewala

An Indian doctor of alternative medicine from Bombay Dr. Shashikant S. Seth, a 'Ratan' Gold Medalist, has arrived in Colombo to introduce a 'full moon day asthmatic cure' made of a rare herbal medicinal plant.

Dr. Seth who is staying in Greenlands Hotel, Bambalapitiya in an interview with the Daily News said, the medicine has to be taken early morning on a full moon poya day by Asthmatic patients for effective cure.

Hence it was called the Full moon day Asthma cure. He claims to have cured hundreds of Asthmatic patients in India and following this success, has decided to introduce it in Sri Lanka for the benefit of the asthmatic patients here.

Dr. Seth says that he has many friends in Sri Lanka, some in the North and East, whom he hopes to visit this time as the ongoing peace process has opened up the area which was cut off from the rest of the country for a long time owing to the ethnic conflict. He is commending the realistic approach taken by the UNF Government led by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe to resolve this conflict once and for all. Dr. Seth will be in Colombo for three weeks, and those who are interested in meeting him could do so at the hotel.
