Minister for Economic Reform, Science and Technology Milinda Moragoda met Indian External Affairs Minister Shri Yashwant Sinha on November 30 to brief him on the recently concluded Donors' conference in Oslo on November 25 and the talks in Oslo. This is part of the ongoing process of keeping the Government of India informed of developments in the peace process, a press release said. Sinha has conveyed the Indian Government's full support to a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Sri Lanka that meets the just aspirations of all elements of Sri Lankan society within the framework of a sovereign and united Sri Lanka. He also conveyed the support of the Government of India to the reconstruction, rehabilitation and economic development of Sri Lanka, the release said. |
