It is reliably confirmed that no Sri Lankans have been affected by the bomb explosion in Mombasa, which occurred on November 28, the Foreign Ministry said. Two garment factories in Mombasa are owned by Sri Lankans. Some Sri Lankans are employed at these factories. A tourist hotel in Mombasa, the main sea port in Kenya, 500 km from Nairobi, was completely destroyed in a bomb attack, which killed at least 16 people and injured over 100. |
