21 reported dead after a passenger bus catches fire

NEW DELHI, Nov 21 (AFP) - Some 21 people in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh were killed when a passenger bus caught fire after an accident, according to media reports Thursday, citing officials

According to a report on BBC World news witnesses said the bus overturned late Wednesday after one of its tires burst.

They said because many of the victims were badly burnt it was difficult to determine the exact number of casualties. More than 20 people were said to have been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
