Second Reading of budget passed

The United National Front Government's second budget (Second Reading) was passed in Parliament yesterday by a majority of 36 votes with 129 voting for and 93 against.

Members of two opposition parties TULF and EPDP also voted with the Government while the PA and JVP voted against.
