Swedish support for peace process The Swedish government has assured their support to meet the success of Sri Lanka Aid Summit at Oslo, Norway on 25th November. Minister of Economic Reform, Science & Technology Milinda Moragoda held discussions with Swedish government officials yesterday as an initial step to basic organisational work of this summit. Bo Goransson, Director General of Swedish International Development Agency, Jorgen Schonning, Head of Asian Division - SIDA Jan Srafstrom, Head of Financing and Capital Market Division - SIDA and Charlotte Malm, Head of Infrastructure Division - SIDA had talks with Minister Milinda Moragoda. The Minister explained about the summit which will be held at Oslo with the participation of international community in order to obtain immediate aid to develop the North East as well as Southern Sri Lanka. |
