Equipment for disabled donated

Dr. Hans Peter from West Germany arrived in Sri Lanka to donate equipment for disabled in Sri Lanka. Among the items brought were wheel- chairs, air pressure mattresses, toilet commodes, etc. which are very useful to disabled persons. Dr. Hans Peter has planned to distribute these items in all parts of the island including Jaffna, for individuals etc. through NGOs like Rotary. This is his third visit to Sri Lanka with similar items and ensured his visit again next year. Rotary club of Wattala organized and distributed some of these items for handicapped at the Rehabilitation Hospital, Ragama. At this event with Dr. Hans Peter, President Rotary Club of Wattala Thilak Perera, Project Coordinator Aloy Herft and Dr. Sivakumar Gulasingham from spinal injury unit were present.
