U.S. Embassy reduces visa fee

From Today, the fee charged by the U.S. Embassy for issuing a nonimmigrant visa will be reduced from $ 130 to $ 95.

The decrease in issuance fees will offset an increase in application fees, which was announced by the Embassy on October 15. That fee will increase from $ 65 to $ 100.

Although U.S. visa fees have undergone various changes the total fees paid by a Sri Lankan national for a nonimmigrant visa has not increased. The total price for an issued visa remains $ 195.
