DASSANAYAKE - GAMINI LESLEY SENARATH  - The family of late Gamini Dassanayake wish to express their gratitude & sincere thanks to all Doctors, especially Dr Miss Ariyarani Ariyarathnam and all nursing staff of the Merchants Ward at the Colombo National Hospital. Pathirage (Retired Teacher, Nalanda Vidyalaya), loving father of Dr Shanthi (MRI), Dr Padmalal (National Hospital), Dr Harris (Base Hospital, Hambantota), Nihal (Naturub Group) and Vindhya (The Finance Colombo), father-in-law of Gunawardane (Food Dept.), Sumudhini, Dr Sujatha (LRH) & Yonika, expired. Cortege leaves residence at 3.15 p.m. for Cremation at Beddagana Cemetery on Wednesday 30th October.   306/18A, Thalawathugoda Rd, Madiwela, Pitakotte. 

RUPESINGHE - A.A. de S (Arthman)   Retired Assistant Director Social Services, beloved husband of Dagmar, loving father of Rukshana, father-in-law of Lashan de Silva (SEC), much loved grandfather of Avini, brother of the late Sumitta, Kusuma and Hayman and of Vijitha Amaratunga, expired. Cortege leaves 53, Park Road, Ratmalana at 2 p.m. on 30th October for Cremation at the General Cemetery Borella at 3 p.m.

Ltd), Kamalanayaki (UK), Padmanathan (Australia), mother-in-law of late Sathivelpillai, Rajalakshmi, Arasakuladevi, Indrani, grandmother of Bawani-Kangeyan, Sathanandhan-Devaki, Nalayini-Rajkumar, Kanchana-Thanesan, Thayalini-Karunamoorthy, Thayanandhan-Yaso, MythileeSrikaran, Dharani-Rajkumar, Parthiban, great-grandmother of Kowthamy, Dr Narmadha, Kajanthan, Nirthika, Maduri, Arun, Bharath, Thiviyan, Simon, James, Abishan, Abinaya, Indujah, Lishani, Devvon, Anurudhan, Harshan, expired. Beloved husband of Kalasoori Arunthathy Sri Ranganathan, Director - Tamil Services, Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation, beloved father of Sarangan (London), Shyamalangan (John Keells, Dubai) and Sreeharan (Maharajah Pvt Ltd.), beloved son of late Mr & Mrs Ponnuthurai of Kottadi, beloved brother of late Mr Pathmanathan, Sri Rangeswari (Australia), Sri Rajeswari (Australia), Sriskandarajah (America), Sri Easwari (Canada) and Srinivasan (America), expired. Funeral at 5 p.m. at Kanatte (Borella). Crematorium on 29/10/2002. Residence: No. 4, 40th Lane, Colombo 06.

FERNANDO - EARNEST   of Julius and Creasy. Beloved husband of late Lesita Fernando and loving father of Enoka Lakmini (Staff O.L.V. Convent Moratuwa), loving father-in-law of Chrisanth Dias (Auto Creations Pvt Ltd), son of late T.S. Fernando and Mary, son-in-law of late Leslie & Pearl, brother of Oliver (Ministry of Community Development), Nancy Kingsly (B.M.C), brother-in-law of Chandra, Bernard, Preethie, Esther, late Christopher, Helina, Keerthie Piyasiri, Viola, Laksiri, Wineetha, Sriya, Sunil, Ethsiri, Anoma, expired. Cortege leaves residence   54/7, Lakmina, Janajaya Mawatha, Moratuwa on Wednesday 30th October at 5 p.m. for Service at St Sebastians Church, Moratuwa, followed by burial.
