New ICT Business page on Fridays

The Daily News in collaboration with The British Computer Society (BCS) Sri Lankan Section will launch a new page on "Information and Communication Technology (ICT)" every fortnight on Fridays commencing tomorrow.

The new ICT Business page will provide an unique opportunity to readers and the business community to establish business alliances, facilitate the export of ICT products and create an awareness among readers on how ICT can play a role in national development.

It will contain sections covering reviews of Sri Lankan ICT products, career guidance, a calendar of ICT related events both local and international and hot ICT news. It will seek to provide a forum for IT users, professionals and other stakeholders to share their knowledge and new product/service ideas and concepts and provide a window to the vast information, contacts and opportunities available through the BCS global network.

The BCS Sri Lankan Section, the Chartered Professional Institution in the field of Information Systems (IS) engineering set up in 1995 will contribute to the page.
