To mark 50 years of diplomatic ties between Sri Lanka and Japan, the Japanese government through its Japanese International Corporative Agency has donated a computer research unit for the Colombo University. This Unit was inaugurated by Japanese Ambassador Seichiro Otsuka and Tertiary Education and Training Minister Kabeer Hasheem recently. Director ICT Prof. V. K. Samaranayake talking to the chief guests after the opening. Colombo University Chancellor Prof. P. R. Anthonis and UGC Vice Chairman Prof. Ratnayake are also in the picture. |
