Sri Lankan students displayed the best results among all the Nationalities in the National First Grade College in Banglore, A.A. Sabha, the Managing trustee of the National First Grade College of Banglore said yesterday. Speaking at the Collage Annual Parents get together at the BMICH, Sabha said this achievement was the reason as to why he as the Managing trustee himself, came to Sri Lanka every year to attend the annual parents get together. "The College has a lot of students from Middle East countries. But Sri Lankan students perform better. That is why the College is paying special attention to Sri Lanka. He said in addition to building a better relationship with parents, the ultimate aim of the get together is to brief them on the progress made by the students. It is the challenge of an educational institution to provide the student with a competent education and make them personalities with sound character. And the College and the staff is dedicated to achieve the task. Many parents have very high expectations about the future of their children but it is imprudent to exert too much pressure on children. It is vital that the students do not lose confidence in themselves or the parents do not lose confidence in their children as that could have an adverse effect on the personalities of the students. Strive to create positive attitudes in the children, "Parent teacher coordination and support is a fundamental need for a student to become a better citizen and to do well in their lives," he said. |
