NSB expands network in N-E Chairman of the National Savings Bank (NSB), D. M. Swaminathan laid the foundation stone for an ultra super branch in Jaffna recently in the presence of E. Narangoda, General Manager of NSB and officials of the Bank. The old branch will be relocated at Hospital Road, Jaffna as soon as work is completed in 10 months. The new building will house the Jaffna branch with all modern facilities and will be a first for NSB in modern banking in the Northern region. With the dawn of peace, NSB is expanding its network in the north by opening more branches at Manipay, Thirunelveli and Atchuveli. In the East the existing Batticaloa branch will be supported by an additional branch at Chenkaladi. As the Family Bank with products to suit every member of the family, it is NSB's prime focus to serve an area which records high mobilisation of savings. |
