Western Union Money Transfer ties up with CSB

Western Union will now be available through Ceylinco Savings Bank (CSB) thanks to a collaboration agreement with Seylan Bank, an authorised agent for Western Union in Sri Lanka.

Through this partnership, Ceylinco Savings Bank will become a sub agent of Seylan Bank for Western Union Money Transfer Service.

Western Union is a system that allows any member of the public to conduct a quick and safe money transfer to or from anywhere to anywhere else in the world.

The fact that Western Union is represented in 190 countries add to this ubiquitous availability and usefulness. The all important criterion of safety is addressed with commitment. With no restrictions on the amounts transferred the service is available to any member of the public, as it does not require either party to be a customer of the bank.

The Western Union Money Transfer Service complements other products of the bank such as the Home banking Service which takes a wide range of banking products and services to the door step of customers. This service is expected to receive favour among existing customers as well as generate interest from the public who have need of this service.
