Bomb on minibus kills one KARACHI, Monday (AFP) One man was killed and six people injured when a bomb exploded in a minibus in the southern Pakistani city of Hyderabad on Sunday, police said. The bomb went off in the rear luggage compartment as the bus arrived from Karachi, 130 kilometres (81 miles) to the west of Hyderabad. Hyderabad police chief Abdul Raoof Yusufzai said the bomb exploded when the packed minibus was passing through the suburb of Mehrab Colony. The injured were taken to the city's Liaquat Hospital where Yusufzai said one of them died Sunday evening from severe leg injuries. The condition of at least one of the injured is serious, doctors said. "It is an act of terrorism," Yusufzai told AFP by telephone. |
