Mack Air appointed GSA for GMG Airlines

Mack Air Ltd., a John Keells Holdings subsidiary has been appointed as the General Sales Agents for the GMG Airlines in Sri Lanka from September 2. GMG Airlines Ltd. is a subsidiary of the well-established GMG Group in Bangladesh. It is the leading and the only Private Domestic Airline and has become a popular product in Bangladesh within three years of operations. GMG Airlines commenced operations on April 6, 1998 and are equipped with three modern state-of-the-art Dash 8 series aircraft manufactured by Bombardier of Canada.

GMG connects daily Dhaka City - the capital of Bangladesh to Chittagong, Sylhet, Jessore, Rajshahi, Barisal and Co Bazaar within Bangladesh with frequent and conveniently timed flights at regular intervals. GMG Airlines have interline agreements with all major carriers including British Airways, Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Malaysian, Gulf Air, Qatar Airways and Saudi Arabian Airlines.

The appointment of the General Sales Agency in Sri Lanka would be beneficial to the domestic travellers within Bangladesh.
