Indian National Defence College on three day visit A 18 member delegation from the National Defence College, India will be on a three day visit in Sri Lanka from September 16 to 18, a Navy spokesman told the Daily News. The delegation will arrive in Colombo on Monday. They will call on Indian High Commissioner and visit the Colombo harbour. The delegation will call on Foreign Minister Tyronne Fernando on September 18. The delegation headed by Rear Admiral Indar Kumar Saluja will visit Polonnaruwa and Trincomalee. The Eastern Naval Commander will host them for lunch in Trincomalee. The delegation will also visit Dalada Maligawa, Kandy in the afternoon. Navy Commander Vice Admiral Daya Sandagiri will host them to a dinner in Colombo on Wednesday. The delegation will include members from Royal Air Force of Oman, Royal Australian Army, Tanzania and Nigeria. |
