BCCSL to host under-17 three-nation tournament

The Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka has organized an Under-17 Three-Nation Tournament 2002, featuring teams from India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, at the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium from October 1 to 8.

This limited-overs tournament will be followed by a series of 3-day matches which will also feature under-19 teams from the Kurunegala and Kandy Districts, at the Kurunegala Welagedera Cricket Stadium, Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium, University of Peradeniya Grounds in Kandy, and St. Anthony's College Grounds in Kandy.

The draw to decide the itinerary for the under-17 three-nation tournament will be held during the ICC Champions Trophy 2002. Each team will play each other in a round-robin format twice. (BCCSL Media Release).
