Janasakthi Insurance branch in Jaffna

The opening of a branch of Janasakthi Insurance Company is a great event in Jaffna. It was decided long before the general election to open a district office in Jaffna.

e are happy to open this office today with cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan in our midst. He has come to lead the Janasakthi Cricket team in a friendly match to be played against the Jaffna district Cricket Society. The enthusiasm and cooperation evinced by the youths and students of Jaffna in welcoming Muralitharan and gracing this function is a happy augury for the interaction of the youths in the North and the South and for the economic development of the North, said CCA Schaffter Managing Director Janasakthi Insurance Company. He was speaking after a branch of Janasakthi Insurance Company was opened by him in Jaffna.

e said that the opening of A9 highway has created opportunities for job generating activities to spring up in the North. The Janasakthi Insurance branch will activate the economic development in Jaffna and will also be a forerunner to discipline and train our youths in the cricket field.
