HP is planning a major campaign in the Sri Lankan market this month to promote the use of original HP products.

It will introduce a special campaign enabling customers to distinguish the difference between HP Laser Jet 1200 printers imported to Sri Lanka by authorised resellers and HP products brought through other channels. This program would enable customers to get the three years Manufacturers' Warranty Free, when purchasing a Laser Jet 1,200 printer. Customers can obtain the warranty card from HP Authorised Resellers to ensure originality, the company said in a release.

The free three-year Manufacturer's Warranty program for Laser Jet 1,200 printers will help Sri Lankan customers and therefore they will be assured of quality and reliability, it said. HP will promote selected categories of ink cartridges and toner cartridges.

This promotion will enable customers who buy original HP ink and toner cartridges to get free discount vouchers from Keells Super and Super K outlets.

These two promotions from HP are being used to educate computer and printer users on the importance of purchasing original HP products from authorised HP resellers, the release said.
