Ranaviru village for Yapahuwa

The Ranaviru Seva Authority has planned to set up a Ranaviru village for disabled war heroes in the Yapahuwa electorate. Thirteen beneficiaries under the scheme received financial assistance for building houses at a ceremony held at the Ambanpola Madya Maha Vidyalaya on Monday. Here one of the beneficiaries receives his cheque from President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga in the presence of Wayamba Chief Minister Athula Wijesiri.
