Pramuka Sports Fed in Mercantile 'B' finals

New comers to the Mercantile 'B' division cricket Pramuka Sports Federation will meet the experienced HNB in the finals on 6th July at NCC grounds. Pramuka Sports Fed has fared well in their debut year and on their way to finals, they have beaten Arpico, Unichela and SriLankan Air Lines comfortably but had lost to HNB and Singer in the league tournament. Left hander Sumedha Weerasiri has battered brilliantly by scoring 249 runs in five matches averaging 58.8 including a century and two half centuries. Tyronne Gamage during the League matches claimed 9 wkts for an average of 16 runs.

All rounder Sanahasa Fernando has also performed well by capturing 8 wickets averaging 21.38 per peice and scoring 152 runs averaging 30.4. Pramuka Sports Fed are a young and formidable side and could be a threat to experienced HNB in the finals.
