FERNANDO - MARGARET   Wife of the late Alwis Fernando, mother of Kapila (Consultant - Coastal Resources Project - ex IUCN, ICTAD), mother-in-law of Lilian Ratnayake (Lyceum), grandmother of Sanja and Harin (Attorneys-at-Law), Udara and Nimali - (Singapore), great grandmother of Shakya, expired. Cremation 4.00 p.m. on Monday 24th June at Hewagama Cemetery,   Disawatte, Hewagama, Kaduwela.  

MAHESWARITHEVI - MRS N.   Beloved wife of Nadarajah, loving mother of Jebaranjan (Canada) & Jeyaraj (Senior Software Engineer Virtusa Pvt Ltd, formerly eRunway), passed away peacefully on 21st June 2002. Remains will lie at Manamperi Funeral Parlour, Borella from 1 p.m. on 23rd June. Cremation on June 24th at 1 p.m. at General Cemetery Borella.   15, Vihara Lane, Wellawatte.

(Wicky)   Beloved husband of Muriel Senarathna, father of Deepthie (Staff, Dharmapala M.V., Erewwala), Priyanthie, Jesmine (Staff, St Clare’s, Wellawatta) and Anil (Rome, Italy), father-in-law of Palitha (Colombo Dockyard) and Gayathrie (Rome-Italy), brother of late Leela, late Soma and Kanthie, expired. Cremation at Family Burial Ground at 3 p.m. on Monday the 24th.   ‘Muttettuwa Walauwa’, Pepiliyawala. 

WIJEYESAKERE - SANATH JOSEPH   Beloved husband of Iromi, precious father of Sanjeewa, brother of Srian, expired on 21st June. In accordance with his wishes a private funeral took place on the same day at the Kanatte General Cemetery.   7/1, Karlshue Gardens, Colombo 08. 

WIJEYESINGHE - GEORGE (Tina).   Beloved husband of Margy, loving father of Brian and Aloma, brother-in-law of Joe Dabare and Therese, father-in-law of W. Paranagama, grandfather of Harsha (Commercial Bank), Udesh and Harendra (of St Thomas’ College, Kotte), expired. Cortege leaves Residence   No. 208, Stanley Tillekeratne Mawatha, Mirihana, Nugegoda at 4.00 p.m. on Monday 24th June for burial at St Thomas’ College, Kotte.

LANDSBERGER - YVONNE (nee Symons)   Precious mother of Marian, Shanez, Beverley, Diane and Shane, mother-in-law of Roney, Charles and Ana Maria, beloved grandmother of Praveen, Shavaun and Shezard, Nadia and Tashya, Anishka and Ashika, loving sister of Cynthia, late Bobby, late Merle, Joyce, Prince, late Gerry, late Kingsley, Bryan and Ashley. Cortege leaves   A.F. Raymond’s Funeral Parlour at 9.30 a.m. on Monday 24th June for Burial at General Cemetery, Kanatte (R.C. Section). 

MARAMBE - GODWIN   The death occured of GODWIN MARAMBE BANDARA of   Maraliya Walawwa, Kiriella. Beloved husband of Madurawathi Marambe Kumarihamy, loving father of Chitrangani, Kanthi, Nissanka, Kuda, Kolitha, Chandrika, Chandraguptha & Neranjani, father-in-law of Sripal, Percy, Iromi, Amitha, Kahanda & Anura. The funeral will take place at Family Burial Ground, Deiyagala Walawwa, Marambe, Getahette (off Avissawella) on Wednesday, 26th at 3.30 p.m. 

SILVA - KUMARI   Loving wife of Mohan (Cario), precious mother of Rehan and Chamindri, daughter of late Sumanapala and Seetha, daughter-in-law of Kamala and late Leslie, sister of Mansiri, sister-in-law of Veena, Nalin and Rajiva, expired. Cortege leaves residence   No. 100, Station Road, Kelaniya at 9 a.m. on Monday 24th June for Cremation at General Cemetery, Kanatte at 10.00 a.m.
