S. M. M. M. Namiz, Ex-FIFA referee, coach and sports officer passed away yesterday (20.6.2002) at Nawaloka Pvt. Hospital, Colombo.

He is the husband of Mrs. Shibly Nawaziya Namiz, Ex-Principal of Mihindu Mawatha Muslim School and Dy. Director of Education.

His demise is a big loss for football world.
