A Mozambican de-miner searches for mines with his dog in Sarasalai near Jaffna town as hostilities between the Government and the LTTE have stopped as they work towards a peace plan. Diabetes on the rise

More and more younger Sri Lankans are becoming victims of diabetes, previously seen as an affliction of the older population. Latest health surveys reveal that the age group with the highest prevalence of diabetes has shifted to 30-45 years age group from the 60s.

Sanath granted bail
