Waidyatilaka at the helm of CT & FC again P.H.D. Waidyatilaka was unanimously re-elected President of the Ceylonese Track & Field Club at the AGM held at the AAA Head Quarters recently. Capt. Jayanath Colombage was elected General Secretary. Waidyatilaka who opted to step down after completing 3 consecutive years as President was persuaded to continue by the entire membership attending the AGM. Waidyatilaka then outlined the programme for the ensuing year. In addition to the annual championships. CT & FC will conduct a marathon in Galle for both men & women and will be an open event. Several coaching camps will be held in the outstations for the benefit of the up & coming outstations athletes. Waidyatilaka also announced that every endeavour will be made to revive the dual meet with Bangalore, India. The newly elected office bearers are as follows. President - Mr. P.H.D.
