Kingslake Engineering to benefit in training partnership with CIMA Kingslake Engineering Systems Ltd. has achieved Recognised Status in CIMA's training through partnership scheme. Kingslake Engineering provides financial accounting and enterprise resource planning systems to Sri Lanka's medium to large size companies focusing primarily in manufacturing and distribution. Kingslake Engineering Systems will now receive direct support from CIMA in providing training for their management accountancy trainees. CIMA has accredited over 2000 business training schemes worldwide and is a leading professional body in the UK and internationally in terms of recognised employer training for accountants. In Sri Lanka, 13 companies in addition to Kingslake Engineering have become a part of the TTP scheme. They are Sampath Bank, Zillione Systems, Maritime Holdings, KPMG Ford Rhodes Thornton & Co, Ernst & Young, S. J. Associates, Slimline, Pricewaterhousecoopers, Nestle Lanka, Aitken Spence, State Pharmaceuticals Corporation, Bairaha Farms Ltd. and Manoharan and Sangakkara Associates. Sudharshan Senaratne, Deputy President of CIMA Sri Lanka said: "IT is an integral part of any business and management accountants need to add value to organisations by using IT effectively. Therefore, I am pleased to see Kingslake as part of our training partnership. I believe their track record and experience of implementing business systems will be of benefit to our students," he said.
