So far it was the best match played by the Sri Lankan girls. Again it was Shanika Rajapakse who scored the first goal in the 18th minute of the first half after a fine 30 metres dribble.

It was a challenging and fast soccer played by both teams throughout the game.

Sprockhoevel equalised in the 25th minute by Nicole Schildmann after Sri Lanka's goalie fumbled with the ball in front of the German striker. In the 30th minute Sprockhoevel again took Germans to a 2-1 lead with a 20 metres distance kick by Sabine Neubauer.

In the second half the Sri Lankan team relying on her good physical strength and again the most outstanding Sri Lankan striker Shanika Rajapakse scored to equalise the game to an 2-2.

Sri Lanka pressed further and was rewarded when Shiromi Devika's remarkable 8 metre looping ball to mark the lead for the Sri Lanka team in the 55th minute. However the German managed once again to score and had to satisfy with a 3-all draw. German veteran player Manuela Bender scored her last goal effectively ending her personal playing career after over 22 years.
