CR & FC beat Old Zahirians Sports Club by 57 points to 5 in their SLRFU Inter-Club 'A' division league championship match played at Longden Place yesterday.

The hosts ran down as many as nine tries against a helpless Old Zahirians outfit. CR scored just three tries in the first half but they had a productive session after the turn around to cross the Old Zahirian line on six more occasions. CR led 19-5 at lemons.

CR collected their points from six goals and three tries against a solitary unconverted try by their opponents, who suffered their second successive defeat.(D.W.)
