Navy defeated Wattala Football League by seven goals to nil in a senior inter-league tournament match during the week. Meanwhile, Trincomalee FL trounced Vavuniya FL by scoring the same number of goals, but the difference being Vavuniya scoring one goal.

Jaffna, Badulla and Gampola too registered easy victories against their opponents Kilinochchi, Bandarawela and Hatton respectively, while Negombo FL and Kalutara FL won against Kurunegala and Matara.
