Murali arrives in Colombo today

Champion off spin wizard, Muttiah Muralitharan will return to Colombo tomorrow after undergoing intensive medical care in Australia, an official of the BCCSL said yesterday.

Muralitharan, who has been in Melbourne during the last couple of weeks for special medical treatment for an injured arm at last April's Sharjah trophy triangular final, will be in Colombo only for a couple of days. His doctors in Melbourne has given the clearance and the celebrated off spinner will leave for England via Dubai later this week. Sources added that though Muralitharan is recovering, he could only be fit for the third Test against England next month.

He is set to miss the first two matches of the three-Test series which begins this Thursday.
