Outstation schools dominated the Junior National age group chess championships conducted by the Chess Federation of Sri Lanka in Colombo.

They won eight out of 12 events in the under 10 to under 20 categories.

Around 300 players including those from Jaffna participated.

The champions were awarded medals and certificates by Youth Affairs and Sports Ministry additional secretary Punchihewa who was the chief guest.
