by Sarath Malalasekera The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) investigating the attack on the UNP 1999 election rally in Maradana junction where UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe presided, on Tuesday took into custody the father of former PSD man Baddegana Sanjeewa. Investigators recovered 22 chairs and several other items from the possession of Baddegana Sanjeewa's father's house.
