Lindel Industrial Laboratories awarded Astel Accreditation

Lindel Industrial Laboratories Limited (LILL), a subsidiary company of DFCC Bank has been awarded Astel Accreditation by the Sri Lanka Standards Institution (SLSI) for chemical tests carried out for determining water quality.

LILL was initially set up in 1997 to monitor environmental pollution of Lanka Industrial Estate Ltd., (Lindel) at Sapugaskanda, the pioneer private sector industrial estate, owned and managed by another subsidiary company of DFCC Bank.

The industrial laboratory of LILL is within the LINDEL industrial estate. The lab is equipped with modern state of the art instruments operated by qualified Analytical Chemists. In addition to water testing LILL has diversified into other fields of testing such as ambient air quality testing, testing of petroleum based fuels and testing of chemical fertilizers for which it hopes to obtain accreditation shortly.

The laboratory services of LILL are not only confined to the Lindel industrial estate but are available to outside parties as well.
