Netherlander comes to the aid of destitute family

Mrs. M. K. Kanthie hailing from Morapolawatta Indigolla in Gampaha a poor mother of four (4) children who are in schoolgoing ages had been a gram-seller for several years to make her ends meet.

It was very unfortunate that an accident occurred while preparing the daily requirement of gram when the gas cooker she had been using burst and caught fire injuring her face, breast, hands and legs and now she is in a disabled position.

Philanthropist one Jerod Kustas a Netherlander had come to know about the plight of this party and was at hand to assist her in her difficult hour.

She needs about 10,000 rupees a month for her medical treatment and for her family expenses including for her schoolgoing children.

It is a blessing that Mr. Jerod Kustas had come into the scene for assistance. In fact Mr. Kustas had pledged assistance even for the uplift of this family.

Kustas frequently visits the family with required medicines and other rations, and he encourages the children to go to school, providing their needs.

It is pertinent to mention that this had been arranged by the Molagoda Sahanasewa foundation in Gampaha.
