The "Dulux" Novices Individual Championship which is one of the most popular championships in the Mercantile Badminton calendar conducted by the Mercantile Badminton Association will be worked off at the S. Thomas' Indoor Stadium, Mount Lavinia from 19th to 22nd April, 2002.

CIC Paints Ltd. is sponsoring the championship for the fifth consecutive year.

Entry forms have been already sent to the member firms. Entries will be received by the Tournament Secretary, Shawn Sheik, C/o Lanka Bell, Level 6, East Lower Blk.1, World Trade Centre, Colombo upto 11th April.
