Royal to play in Jaffna On the initiative taken by Dr. Jayalath Jayawardena, Minister of Rehabilitation, Resettlement and Refugees, arrangements have been made for the Royal College cricket team to play matches in Jaffna. The Royal team will play St. John's College, Jaffna, Central College and St. Patrick's College. The Principal, Royal College has already informed the Minister that he is in a position to send the college cricket team in April. Minister has requested the Government Agent, Jaffna to organise this event in consultation with Principals of the three colleges and the Cricket Association in Jaffna. Minister Dr. Jayalth Jayawardena is of the view these matches will promote goodwill between Jaffna schools and Colombo schools. |
