by Batticaloa Roving correspondent The Batticaloa District National Youth Service Council organised a Seminar on the topic from the School to the 'Job World' under the 100 day development program, at Hindu College, Valaichchenai. The Advance Level students form Hindu College participated this career guidance seminar. Mrs. Lalitha Kathiramalai, the Batticaloa district Youth Service Officer addressing the Seminar said that, after completing the Advance Level studies and during their hunt for jobs it becomes necessary to know about the different facts of the job world, employment opportunities. Lectures were also given covering the aspects of preparing bio-data, designing application forms and how to face interviews properly. Mr. Thavarajah, Principal, Hindu College and Youth Service Officer Vanniyams and S. Ramachandran also participated. |
